The MRCOOL DIY Mini Split - 30,000 BTU 2 Zone Ductless Air Conditioner and Heat Pump (DIY-B-227HP1218) is designed to give you complete climate control across two zones with the ease of DIY installation. This innovative system provides efficient heating and cooling without requiring specialized tools, letting you achieve comfortable temperatures in no time.

This package includes a 27,000 BTU Multi-Zone Condenser, one 12,000 BTU Wall Mounted Air Handler, one 18,000 BTU Wall Mounted Air Handler, and two remotes for easy management. It’s perfect for those seeking a reliable and powerful solution that doesn’t involve complex setups or extra costs for professional installation.

With MRCOOL's 4th Generation DIY system, you gain enhanced features, flexibility, and convenience. Enjoy personalized, whisper-quiet comfort in two spaces, all managed from anywhere with the integrated smart technology for a streamlined, connected experience.

This package does not include linesets, don't forgot to scroll up and add them!

If all air handlers are run simultaneously, their combined BTU output will not exceed the BTU rating of the condenser. In this case, the combined BTU output of the Air Handlers will never exceed the 27K BTU Rating of the Condenser.

Condenser

  • Energy Efficient. This 3 Zone condenser, when paired with select MRCOOL air handlers, is capable of producing an impressive 22 SEER efficiency rating.
  • Works In All Environments. The capability to continue to deliver heating performance when temperatures reach -13°F
  • Lifetime Warranty. For added peace of mind, this is the only condenser on the market that comes with a limited lifetime compressor warranty. Simply register into the MRCOOL Care Program to get the lifetime warranty!

    Air Handler, 12K BTU

    • Large Coverage Area. Handler covers an area up to 500 sq. ft.
    • Versatile. Incredibly versatile and equipped with multiple operating modes, which include COOL, HEAT, AUTO, DRY (dehumidify), and SLEEP.
    • Easy to Control. This unit also has the capability to be controlled by your Apple or Android smartphone through the use of the Smart HVAC app.
    • Convenient Installation. With its light and compact design, it can be installed easily to most interior walls with the included mounting plate.
