With the best fit and finish in the industry, Mason-lite offers fireplaces in standard sizes of 33″, 39″, 44″, 49″, 63″, 75”, and a 43” See-through; combined with a vast custom-size fireplace library. And, by just adding an 8” height kit, you can have the tall and shallow look of a Rumford-style fireplace. Our fireplaces are approved for multi-story and combustible floor installations all the while meeting UL127, UL103 safety standards.
Looking for MASSIVE sizes! Look no further than our UL Listed REGAL fireplace line. These units have sizes of 72″, 84″, 96″, 108″, 120″ widths with a taller 38.5″ height for their openings. The REGAL fireplace line will impress your guests with sizes fit for royalty.

(MFI) warrants all Mason-Lite Fireplaces to be free from defects in materials that adversely affect fireplace performance for the lifetime of the product from the date of purchase, subject to the terms and conditions of this limited warranty. MFI does not warrant accessory chimney, outside air ducts and devices not manufactured by MFI. |
This warranty covers only products manufactured by MFI, specifically the modular concrete firebox, and No warranty, express or implied, extends to any of the following of the hardware foundation, venting, ducts or accesssories. This warranty does not cover drafting, smoking, or sooting of the fireplace system. Factors beyond the manufacturer’s control affect drafting, smoking, and sooting and MFI cannot guarantee these aspects of performance.
Is the fireplace safe to use?Yes, it has been tested to Underwriters Laboratories, UL 127 Standard for safety. The fireplace is listed by PFS testing agency, ICC, (International Code Council) and quality control standards are used in manufacturing.(ESR -2401) |
Can I install the fireplace on a wood floor?Yes: please use the required metal base under unit sold by MFI or use CMU block. Air space clearances range from 6″ to 8″ depending on the model. |
Do I have to install the outside air kit on the fireplace?The local building code will tell you if this is required in your area. The fireplace will work without the outside air kit, although, it is more efficient to use outside air for combustion. |
Do I need firebrick inside the firebox?Yes: MFI can supply firebrick panels for easy installation or a mason can lay firebrick inside the firebox. |
What type of chimney do I use on this fireplace?The fireplace has been tested with both a masonry chimney, manufactured by MFI, or Class A listed metal chimney. The different models can use different diameter metal chimney that will fit almost all installation needs. When installed, the maximum overall height of the Mason-Lite fireplace is 40 feet. The minimum installation height is 14 feet, given that the chimney is straight. If the chimney is not straight, the minimum installation height is 17 feet. |
Do I need a log holder or grate in the fireplace?Yes, you should use a grate to hold the wood in the firebox for better combustion and safety. |
Can I install a mantel or decorative stone or marble on the front of the fireplace?Yes. Just follow the installation instructions for safe installations. |
Can I install decorative gas logs in this wood-burning fireplace?Yes. Follow the manufacturers instructions for safe installation and operation. |
Can I install a log lighter in the fireplace?Yes. Follow the manufacturers instructions for safe installation and operation. |
Can I install a glass door on the fireplace?Yes, Follow the manufacturers instructions and always have doors in the fully open position when using the fireplace. |
Can I install fireplace on upper levels floors of a building?Yes with the lightweight design of MFI fireplaces will work on most applications. You must have a structural engineer determine the load limit of the flooring. |
Can I install a see-thru wood-burning fireplace?Yes. The MFPST43 You will need to install a chimney exhaust type fan in most installations. |
Can I install this fireplace outside?Yes. It is listed for BOTH indoors and outdoors. |
