APOLLO Series - Buffer Tank


The APOLLO BF series tank are an essential component for properly operating the hydronic heat pump system. When very low or no-load conditions the buffer gives time for the heat pump to react and shut down correctly without spiking temperature, in winter it helps defrost the cycle as well.

The insulation prevents condensation and heat loss.
Everlasting corrosion buffer tank with sensor well.

BF175 - Stainless Buffer Tank - 172 Gal

  • Volume: 175gal - 650L
  • Inner Tank Material: SS316, Thickness: 1/16”
  • Outer Jacket Material: Painted Steel, Thickness: 1/32”
  • Thread size and type: 1-1/2" with bushing to 1" preinstalled, NPT.
  • Insulation: 2" Polyurethane foam on side and 3" on top
  • Operation pressure 200psi
  • Equipped with a drain valve.


BF250 - Stainless Buffer Tank - 250Gal

  • Volume 250gal - 950L
  • Inner Tank Material: SS316, Thickness: 1/16”
  • Outer Jacket Material: Painted Steel, Thickness: 1/32”
  • Insulation: 2" Polyurethane foam on side and 3" on top
  • Thread size and type: 1-1/2", NPT
  • All connections come with pre-install plugs.
  • Equipped with a drain valve.
  • Operation pressure 200psi
