ACiQ is an innovative and intelligent solution designed specifically for adaptive heating and cooling in nearly any type of space and climate condition—all while being offered at a highly affordable price point. With the ACIQ-18Z-HH-M2B model, you have the capability to operate up to two air handlers using just one condenser unit, which not only saves valuable outdoor space but also ensures that your home remains perfectly comfortable throughout the year. This system is designed to meet diverse needs, providing both efficiency and convenience for homeowners looking to maintain an ideal indoor environment.
QUICK FACTS
The 18,000 BTU ACiQ-18Z-HH-M2 easily supports up to 2 air handlers at up to 1.25 times the condenser BTU rating, or 22,500 BTU across all handlers. This adaptive inverter condenser adjusts constantly to provide the precise amount of heating or cooling needed for each room. You can set different temps for each room or zone and even turn off heating/cooling in unused areas. With a 21.5 SEER efficiency rating, you’re getting a system designed to save you money both up front and over its lifespan.
Even though the condenser is pre-charged, note that this model doesn’t have quick connect line set connectors and isn’t a self-install unit. You’ll need a pro to add more refrigerant and vacuum the lines as needed. Installation materials like line sets, control wire, drain hose, whip, and disconnect aren’t included but are available in the Accessories section.
Extreme Heat Base Pan Heater Technology
Every ACiQ condenser has integrated Extreme Heat tech to maximize heat performance in extreme cold. HyperHeat extends heat pump performance with inverter condenser tech, outdoor temp sensing, variable refrigerant flow, and variable fan speed to maximize heat extraction down to -22°F. Plus, each unit includes a base pan heater to prevent ice buildup on the condenser coil during operation. And the best part? ACiQ includes these features with every multizone condenser—unlike the competition, which charges extra.
Installation and Maintenance
ACiQ multi-zone condensers come pre-charged with R410-A refrigerant for 25' per air handler connection, so often no extra refrigerant is needed. All units are factory-tested for years of trouble-free performance. Troubleshooting is easy with the self-diagnosing control board that sends alerts to each connected air handler.
