This mini split has concealed duct air handlers, providing the benefits of a multi zone system without visible units on your walls or ceilings. Flex ducting can be run from the concealed duct air handler to ceiling or wall registers, allowing for 4 connections depending on unit capacity, making it great for small bedrooms or a master suite.

The layout is super easy - the back of the unit brings in return air and out the front, cooled or heated air is pushed through an almost inaudible squirrel cage fan. You can either connect a pre-made manifold takeoff or create your own plenums using ductboard. With common materials, the options for customization are limitless.

Installation Considerations

For optimal installation of concealed duct systems, proper planning is necessary, similar to a standard home HVAC setup. These systems are ideal for new constructions or additions. Along with the equipment components, installation will also require flex ducting, register vents, plenums, and necessary installation supplies. The concealed duct units are equipped with a factory-installed pump for lifting condensation, followed by the construction of a PVC drain system to a safe wastewater location.
