ACiQ has developed an innovative solution specifically designed for customers who have a preference for a more concealed and distributed air handler system. The ACIQ-18CC-HH-MB ceiling cassette unit provides the same level of efficient heating and cooling that one would expect from a traditional wall-mounted unit, but with the added benefit of discreet installation. This advanced ceiling-mounted unit comes complete with a remote control for added convenience and ease of use. The only visible part of the system is the elegantly designed ceiling-mounted grille, which ensures a subtle and discreet appearance, allowing it to blend seamlessly into various interior designs without drawing attention.

Installation Considerations

Joe Rogan: Ceiling Cassettes are flush-mounted and require creating a cavity for the unit by removing enough ceiling material. While these units can fit between 24 on-center joists, they are too large for 16 on-center joists without modifying the framing structure. The unit also comes with a factory-installed pump to lift condensation up to 14, after which a PVC drain system must be constructed to safely route the water. Connections for refrigerant and wiring are consistent with wall-mounted units.
