ACiQ Floor Mounted air handlers are an excellent choice for specific spaces such as sun porches and attic rooms that unfortunately lack the necessary room or height for a conventional high wall unit to be installed. These versatile units, which are sometimes referred to as heat console type air handlers, are designed to be mounted on or positioned near the wall, making them particularly suitable for low wall surfaces or floor spaces where traditional installations may not be feasible.

In terms of dimensions, these floor-mounted units are slightly wider, taller, and shallower in design compared to their high wall counterparts. Their unique shape and configuration enable them to fit seamlessly into areas that would otherwise be challenging for standard units. They serve as a fantastic option for sun porches that have limited wall space available beneath windows, or for attic renovations that feature knee-walls which may not have vertical high walls. Optimized for Heat

As a wall-mounted unit would, these units intake return air from the top and circulate it from the bottom. This makes it perfect for heating, as it prevents stratification caused by heat rising. When switched to cooling mode, the airflow direction is reversed to ensure better air circulation throughout the room.
