ACiQ 12,000 BTU Floor Mounted Mini-Split Air Handler ACIQ-12FM-HH-MB
ACiQ Floor Mounted air handlers are an excellent choice for various spaces such as sun porches and attic rooms that unfortunately lack sufficient room for the installation of a standard high wall unit. These versatile units, which are sometimes referred to as heat console type air handlers, are designed to be mounted directly on or very close to the wall, making them particularly ideal for low wall surfaces or floor spaces where conventional units simply won't fit.
They have a design that is slightly wider, taller, and shallower in shape when compared to standard high wall units, allowing them to blend seamlessly into the environment. This makes them a fantastic option for sun porches that have limited wall space beneath windows, as well as for attic renovations featuring knee-walls that may not accommodate tall vertical high walls. Their unique design ensures that they provide efficient heating and cooling without compromising on aesthetics or functionality.
Optimized for Heat
As a wall-mounted unit would, these units intake return air from the top and circulate it from the bottom. This makes it perfect for heating, as it prevents stratification caused by heat rising. When switched to cooling mode, the airflow direction is reversed to ensure better air circulation throughout the room.
