Installation Considerations

Ceiling Cassettes are installed into the ceiling and require creating a cavity for the unit by removing ceiling material. They can fit between 24 on-center joists, but modifications to the framing are necessary for 16 on-center joists. These units also come with onboard pumps to remove condensation and can lift it up to 14. A PVC drain system must be constructed to safely drain the condensation. Refrigerant and wiring connections are identical to wall mounted units.
