The ACIQ-09ZPL-HP230B Condenser, paired with the ACIQ-09W-HP230B wall mounted air handler, is suitable for small to medium sized rooms. With its dual rotary compressor and variable inverter technology, this system has excellent efficiency ratings. Please note that this equipment model does not come with quick connect line set connectors and is not intended for DIY installation. Materials such as line sets, control wire, drain hose, whip and disconnect are not included, but can be purchased separately in the Accessories section on this page. A professional will be needed for adding refrigerant and vacuuming the lines as necessary. While the automated cleaning function will maintain your system, it is recommended to regularly clean the unit's filters manually.

If you prefer a less visible air handler, ACiQ has the solution with their ACIQ-09CC-HH-MB Ceiling Cassette Air Handler. Offering the same efficient heating and cooling as a wall-mounted unit, this ceiling cassette comes with a remote control and is mounted in the ceiling for a discreet appearance.

Installation Considerations

Installation of Ceiling Cassettes requires exposing enough ceiling material for the unit. While they can fit between 24 on-center joists, they need structural adjustments for 16 on-center joists. The unit also has a built-in pump to remove condensation, with a maximum lift of 14 feet. A PVC drain will be needed to direct the condensation to a proper wastewater location. Refrigerant and wiring connections are identical to wall-mounted units.
