Important Note: This unit does not have quick connect line set connectors and is not DIY. Installation materials like line sets, control wire, drain hose, whip, and disconnect are not included but available in the Accessories section. A professional is needed to add refrigerant and vacuum the lines as required. The system has an automated cleaning function, but it's recommended to manually clean the filters periodically.
24,000 BTU Floor Mounted ACiQ Mini-Split Air Handler
ACiQ floor-mounted air handlers are perfect for sun porches and attic rooms where mounting a high wall unit isn't feasible. These units, also known as heat console air handlers, mount low on the wall, near or on the floor. They are wider, taller, and slightly shallower than high wall units. Ideal for spaces like sun porches with wall space below windows or attic remodels with knee walls.
Optimized for Heat: These units intake air at the top and deliver it at the bottom, making them perfect for heating. By delivering warm air at floor level, they prevent heat stratification. In cooling mode, the airflow reverses for better air mixing.

Specifically designed to direct airflow upwards, the Carrier 40MBFQ24-3 Performance series floor console air handler is perfect for applications where you need a wall-mounted air handler close to the floor. The 40MBFQ24-3 ensures superior comfort for any space, regardless of application limitations.
Note: The 18k and 24k models differ slightly in appearance from the 12k and can be mounted on the floor or ceiling. Please refer to the appropriate manual for your model.
